Basic Types of Auto Insurance

AAAI provides you with information on a couple types of basic insurance types. We like to let our consumers know what they can get or what they should get.

Bodily Injury Liability:

This type of insurance provides you with coverage from other people that you may hurt or injure from an accident.

Property Damage Liability:

With property damage liability you will be covered from any damages to third party assets, such as someone else’s car you damage.

Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage:

This is a coverage that protects you from negligent drivers with no insurance or insufficient insurance. This can cover mostly bodily injury and property damage depending on your state.

Physical Damage Coverage:

This covers damage to your car.

Collision:

This covers your car in the event of a collision.

Comprehensive:

This type covers most non-collision damage to your car. IE: When you car's windshield breaks, damaged by hail, etc.
